Indiana Bigfoot Conference 2026 Preview: Brown County, Sept 25-26

The biggest Sasquatch event in the heartland this fall happens six weeks from now. The Indiana Bigfoot Conference runs September 25-26 at The Seasons Lodge in Nashville, Indiana — Brown County. Two days. Four nationally-recognized speakers. A Town Hall, a Meet & Greet dinner, a basket-donation charity auction, and the kind of hallway conversation you can't get anywhere else. The Headline

On the same weekend every fall, Brown County turns into the heartland's biggest outdoor town — leaf-peepers, artists, hikers, and the occasional Bigfoot researcher. This year, the Indiana Bigfoot Conference takes over the lower level of The Seasons Lodge (560 Indiana 46, Nashville, IN) on Friday September 25 and Saturday September 26, 2026. Doors open at 4 PM Friday for a free public vendor session. Saturday is the main event.

It is, by a wide margin, the largest Sasquatch gathering in the state of Indiana. And given how much the tri-state corridor has woken up over the past twelve months — the Ohio Flap, IBRO's Brazil Bigfoot Day, the new Indiana Bigfoot Research Center on Main Street, the BFRO Class A classification, and the credible WNDE / WYMT coverage — the timing could not be better.

Who's Speaking

The 2026 speaker lineup, per the official conference page, reads like a who's-who of Bigfoot research:

• Marc DeWerth — Bigfoot researcher. One of the Midwest's most prolific investigators, with field experience from the Ohio Flap corridor south through Kentucky's Red River Gorge.
• M.K. Davis — Sasquatch analyst & footage researcher. The guy researchers send questionable videos to. If you've seen a "Bigfoot in the trees" clip and someone said "that's just a bear," M.K. was probably the second opinion.
• LeRoy Nail — Indiana Bigfoot Research Organization CEO and operator of the new Indiana Bigfoot Research Center on Main Street in Nashville. The host. The local.
• Adam Davies — British researcher, frequent U.S. collaborator, and one of the most-traveled investigators in the field. He opened the 2024 conference and is back.

The conference runs across two full days, with a Friday warm-up that's free to the public and a Saturday main stage that runs door-to-door:

Friday, September 25

The Friday Town Hall is the underrated part of the weekend. Researchers from across the region — Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois — share what's been coming in over the summer and coordinate the fall camera-trap and track-casting season. If you've ever wanted to hand a plaster cast to someone who knows what a 17-inch Sasquatch print actually looks like, this is the room.

Why It's Different This Year

Last year's Indiana Bigfoot Conference was the first one. It worked. Adam Davies headlined, the room was packed, and Brown County turned out. This year, the conference returns bigger — but the backdrop is also bigger.

In the past twelve months, the heartland has seen:

• The March 2026 Ohio Flap — CNN, NBC, and Fox News running the same Bigfoot story in the same week
• The BFRO classifying a July 2026 road-crossing sighting as Class A — the highest credibility tier
• LeRoy and Nancy Nail opening the Indiana Bigfoot Research Center on Main Street in Nashville — the first Bigfoot museum/research hub in the state
• The Indiana Bigfoot Conference itself moving from a one-day event to two full days with a speaker lineup that includes national names

None of that existed twelve months ago. The community in the tri-state isn't fringe anymore. It's organized.

Tickets, Parking, and Where to Stay

Tickets are sold through the official Indiana Bigfoot Conference tickets page. The Seasons Lodge is the host venue, but Brown County in late September books out months in advance — if you're coming from Cincinnati, Louisville, Indianapolis, Columbus, or anywhere in the tri-state, lock down a cabin or hotel room now. The leaf-peeping season overlaps with conference weekend on purpose; the conference is timed to catch the fall color crowd.

Parking is on-site at The Seasons Lodge. The Friday vendor session is free and open to the public — if you're on the fence, that's the easiest entry point. The Saturday speaker sessions and the Friday Meet & Greet Dinner are ticketed.

What We'll Be Watching

A few things we'll be paying attention to when the conference lands:

• Whether the Ohio Flap crew and the IBRO crew cross-pollinate. The corridor has been obvious on a map for years — this is the first time both groups will be in the same room at the same time.
• What M.K. Davis has been quietly working on. He doesn't talk about ongoing analysis until it's done. When he presents in Nashville, it'll be the first look.
• Whether anyone announces a coordinated camera-trap grid across the tri-state. With the Ohio Flap reports and credible heartland sightings both rising, this is the obvious next step — and the conference is the obvious place to launch it.
• The Meet & Greet dinner on Friday night. Anyone who's been to a small-researcher conference knows: that's where the actual news gets made.

Bottom Line

The Indiana Bigfoot Conference 2026 is the closest thing the heartland has to a regional Sasquatch summit. It's two days, in the woods, with the people who actually do the work.
